Content and copyright

News articles on Newsglish are sourced from third-party publishers. We provide rewritten versions and learning materials for educational use. Original articles remain the property of their respective publishers — links to originals are provided where available.

Lesson content generated by Newsglish (rewrites, vocabulary lists, discussion questions) is owned by Business as Usual English. You may use it for personal learning but may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell it without permission.

AI-generated content

Lessons and explanations are generated using artificial intelligence. While we review and curate content, AI output may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Newsglish is a learning tool, not a substitute for professional advice. Use your judgment and verify important information.

Student submissions

When you submit an article URL, we attempt to fetch and transform it into a lesson. Submitted lessons are visible only to you until reviewed and approved by our team. We reserve the right to reject submissions that do not meet our content standards.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Newsglish available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Limitation of liability

Newsglish is provided "as is" for educational purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Business as Usual English is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any disputes will be handled in good faith, and users in the EU retain their rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
